T10, the studio of Sevillian architects José Luis Pérez Halcón and Francisco Santisteban, is the author of the design of what has been presented these days as the largest artificial beach in Europe and the entire leisure complex associated with it, in Alovera, a municipality in the province of Guadalajara, but located half an hour’s drive from Madrid. The planned investment is 15.6 million euros and has attracted the attention of the media.

According to what Santisteban confirmed yesterday, the promoters contacted this Andalusian team after learning about their experience in similar facilities, as well as in leisure centers and restaurant complexes. T10 designed the water park of Isla Mágica (Aqua Mágica), also works in hotels and aquatic centers on the Costa del Sol and signs the gourmet market recently inaugurated in Marbella, among other projects related to leisure, in which it has specialized, although it also deals with other fields.

Francisco Santisteban specifies that the landscaping aspects of the project have been pampered so that it becomes a “green lung in the area” of the Henares corridor, as well as an enclave for “enjoyment and leisure”. He also assures that care has been taken to ensure that the plant species, water and materials provide environmental sustainability to the project, which has raised suspicions about the use of water in times of drought. “These are fundamental concepts, not only for their own sake, but also because without them leisure spaces do not work,” he stresses.
