The mythical Lima hotel upgrades its category and updates its image with a new smooth and dynamic facade.
Located in the heart of Marbella, in a strategic position between the Princesa beach and the old town, the Lima hotel completely renews its facilities, highlighting the renovation of its 64 rooms, a new restaurant on the first floor, swimming pool-solarium on the roof and a new façade envelope that stands out for its subtlety and elegance among the adjacent facades.
The main challenge of this project is the total renovation of the existing hotel, without increasing the built volume or the heights of the original building.
The main intervention is based on the creation of a double skin that envelops the building, giving the hotel a new image that seeks to emphasize its outer perimeter through longitudinal and horizontal bands at different levels, forming in turn the outdoor terraces.
At night, controlled and precise lighting will turn the façade into a vibrant element.
