Sevillian architects awarded for a hotel project in Málaga

The T 10-Team studio, based in the Plaza de la Magdalena, is awarded for the sustainable design of a hotel in Benalmádena

A hotel designed and built by the Sevillian architecture firm T10Team, formed by José Luis Pérez Halcón and Francisco Santisteban, is among the Top 10 winners of the best sustainability and hotel refurbishment projects in Spain 2020.

The Sentido Benalmádena Beach hotel in Málaga (formerly Villasol) is the winner of the Rethink Hotel competition in the TSMedia category in recognition not only of its design, but also of its implementation of sustainability criteria applied to tourism and the hospitality sector, successfully applying measures to reduce costs and increase the quality, comfort and attractiveness of the hotel.

The architectural firm T10, at the forefront of design and sustainability, received the award in Madrid on Tuesday, May 18. T10 specializes in the hotel, residential and leisure sectors, with offices in Seville and Malaga and with a national and international scope of action.

When awarding the prizes, criteria of global sustainability, building sustainability, marketing and CSR, heritage conservation and universal accessibility have been taken into account within all the factors in line with the objectives of the 2030 agenda.
