A luxury hotel to disconnect from your cell phone in the middle of nature.
The project is located in the Sierra del Recio, next to the Sierra de Tentudía, in the foothills of Sierra Morena. The geographical location, the Tentudía Reservoir and the scarcity of industrial fabric in the area, make the development of this project an enhancement of the municipality and its immediate surroundings, and an alternative to the agricultural activities that have traditionally been developed in the area and that are increasingly difficult to maintain economically in the future.
Feng shui is linked to the well-being of people and what better than a hotel that meets these criteria to stand out from other options. For this, the place chosen for its construction, the orientation and the environment play a fundamental role. Likewise, the location of public and private rooms, the layout of gardens and swimming pools and the distribution of rooms in the right sectors are decisive to achieve optimum performance for the well-being of all.
Once inside the building, it is important that it is easy to find one’s way around from the lobby, that routes are pleasant and that the separation between private and public areas is balanced. Rooms are undoubtedly the quintessential rooms in a hotel. A room that promotes rest, relaxation and tranquility is the goal to be achieved. This has an impact on the most important thing, health and good mood. With all this in mind, a program of needs has been drawn up, with actions such as a large reception area, rooms, in addition, a restaurant, spa, gym, office, warehouse and kitchen will be incorporated.
The project goes further, incorporating a landscaping, recreational and swimming pool treatment. Taking the site and climate as a starting point, special attention has been paid to the design of the gardening and landscaping to integrate the whole complex into its surroundings, as well as to regenerate biodiversity environmentally. Taking advantage of the descending profile of the terrain in a southwesterly direction and in order not to diminish the views of the reservoir from the restaurant and the outdoor terrace, a swimming pool has been placed among the natural blooms of the rock, achieving an “infinity pool” effect with views of the reservoir.
